Getting Involved

Grass Roots Golf Foundation relies on donations to fund this program, and volunteers to help deliver its mission.

As a 501(C)(3) organization, donations may be considered tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.  We are a local, independent public charity.  100% of donations benefit our local mission.  

No staff time or resources are spent because of a relationship, branding license, franchise contract, or agreement with any national or regional organization, initiative or partnership. 

Donate Time

Join the team of  volunteers, who contribute their time, energy and enthusiasm toward helping Grass Roots Golf Foundation accomplish its mission.  Have fun, meet new people, get outdoors, and enjoy the challenge of learning new skills and sharing your talents as a coach, committee member or board member.

Affordable access to golf for many children and their families is very challenging. Golf instruction tuition, cost of equipment, and transportation are the main barriers, in addition to other cultural and societal pressures. These barriers prevent many local youth from experiencing golf as a beginner, and then developing in the game to integrate the life lessons that golf can impart.

Each student in Grass Roots Golf Foundation programming, receives services that cost the organization much more than twice the fee of the student's tuition.  That charitable "funding gap" is met through gifts from individuals and corporations, foundations, and our special event fundraising.

Donate Equipment

We can always use equipment. We have even had supporter donate a car that helped the charity's mission.  Call us to discuss what you have in mind to support our efforts.  Feel free to donate clubs, balls, bags, training equipment, etc.

We ask that all clubs being donated be in good, usable condition. To donate your equipment, please phone or email.
