Compete
Juniors ready to play the game in a match; keeping track of every stroke within the Rules of Golf and on pace-of-play; .... are ready to COMPETE.
We believe that positive, supportive experiences competing in stroke play tournaments accelerates junior's skill and understanding of the game. Competing also develops "success skills" that can help them throughout their lives.
GRGF offers a Junior Tour Series of stroke play competitions beginning in spring through summer. Our tentative 2023 dates are listed below.
The GRGF Junior Tour offer 3 "levels of play"; Par 3 nine holes, 9 holes, and 18 holes divisions.
Fitting with our GRGF mission, our events are affordable, and scholarship support is available upon request.
We also encourage and support juniors to prepare to thrive in other high level stroke play events locally and regionally (i.e. WJGA, AGA, etc.)
Begin by completing an Annual Participation Membership Form. There is a $25 fee for one youth, or, $40 fee for an entire household. This fee helps GRGF cover player insurance costs.
